Updates regarding COVID-19

GTCA’s mission is to safely and reliably deliver genetic testing services efficiently and affordably, and we are committed to serving you even in the most trying of circumstances. The efforts to contain and slow the spread of COVID-19 throughout our region are creating new and unprecedented challenges for us all, and we wanted to share what we are doing to protect you, our customer, as well as the health and safety of our employees and their families.
As of today, our lab is fully operational, and we do not expect any project delays due to COVID-19. We maintain constant communication with all suppliers where potential for impact has been identified and information is provided to our team daily. If we identify any potential issues, we will proactively contact all affected customers via email.
To minimize the risk of infection to our employees, we have implemented advanced and more frequent cleaning/disinfecting procedures within our laboratories and have further restricted entrance into our facilities by outside personnel. All GTCA employees have been advised not to come to work if they are exhibiting any symptoms of the virus or have been in contact with someone who has exhibited symptoms. Currently, there are no reported cases for GTCA employees or family members.
We recognize that conditions may change rapidly. Any changes to lab operations will be communicated via email and posted online here. Any order delays that may arise will also be communicated to you via email.
Your research is important to us. The entire GTCA team is dedicated to delivering superior service — especially at times like these when research matters the most.
